I am getting a lot of encouragement to 1. send the manuscript NOW and 2. not send the manuscript until I have had a serious critique of it by someone who doesn’t know me.

Honestly, I was leaning toward the NOW version, but when I went to look up what the editor specified she preferred during the conference I attended, I saw her suggestions for revision. I went back over my book and made someĀ majorĀ changes.

Then I spent quite a while on what the manuscript should look like.

What I understood her to say and what the internet seems to support are quite different. However, even if the internet is wrong, I think it is the better way to go. After I finish this post, I will go fix the manuscript.

Today.

Then I will probably sit on it some more and see if I got in that critique group I applied for.
