I was listening to an author (Jed Jurchenko) talk about writing and he said that writing is creative.
Does anyone disagree with that? Yeah, me neither.
Then he said that editing is critical.
I agree with that too. You?
Then he said something I had not thought of: Do our brains switch back and forth well? Can you easily switch back and forth between critical and creative? Maybe not.
Work smarter, not harder.

When you are writing, write. Don’t start editing until you have finished writing.
If you think that is easy to do, please share your tips for doing it below. I think it is a good idea and I sometimes succeed at it very well. Other times not so much.
