Covid-19 Quarantine

March 8 was the last day of really normal life, but I didn’t know it at the time. Momma said she didn’t usually look at cats on the internet. I said I know that. She didn’t explain.

I asked Daddy. He said it was part of an internet joke.

Turns out the joke was on Momma. Now she looks at cats a lot. For herself. For her friends. Because cats don’t get sick and they aren’t scary. At least, not as scary as Covid…. I hope cats don’t start making Momma sad now that the tiger got sick.

This is too old and not a good start to the story, but it has parts of my story in it and I wanted to share it–even if it wouldn’t be usable in an actual book.
